Kristine Michels, P.E. - Owner
Kristine is a registered professional engineer and is certified by NACE International as a Cathodic Protection Specialist.
She has been involved in the cathodic protection industry since 1998.
During her career in corrosion control, she has conducted many surveys of rectifier-powered and sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems. Kristine has been involved in pre-construction design studies and post-installation commissioning tests on underground storage tanks, water and gas transmission/distribution pipelines, electric power generating stations (gas, coal, and nuclear), and petroleum storage terminals. She has also been project manager for several corrosion investigations for underground piping systems and submerged barges.
Tim Tannehill - Senior Technician
Tim is certified by NACE International as a Corrosion Technician and a Level 1 Coatings Inspector.
He has been in the pipeline and corrosion industries for 38 years.
Tim has had many roles in his career: pipeline operator, pipeline inspector, corrosion technician, etc. His duties as a technician include conducting corrosion surveys of both rectifier-powered and sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems on underground storage tank systems, electric power generating stations (gas, coal and nuclear), aboveground storage tanks, chemical plants, and petroleum and water transmission pipelines.
Hector Diaz de Leon - Technician
Hector is certified by NACE International as a Cathodic Protection Tester.
He has been working in corrosion control since 2005.
He began his career in construction and was involved in all aspects of cathodic protection system installation. His duties as a technician include conducting corrosion surveys of impressed current and sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems on underground storage tanks, water transmission/distribution pipelines, electric power plants, manufacturing plants, and petroleum storage terminals. Hector is proficient in pipeline location.
Juan Gabino - Technician
Juan is certified by NACE International as a Cathodic Protection Tester.
He has been working in cathodic protection since 2001.
Juan began his career as a CAD operator and continued into the technical arena as a technician. As a CAD operator, he is responsible for interpreting engineering and construction sketches and mockups for graphical intent. He prepares plan, detail, sections, elevations and asbuilt drawings. Juan regularly creates CAD drawings that represent physical features of client’s facilities and incorporates CP system components. His duties as a technician include conducting corrosion surveys of impressed current and sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems on underground storage tanks, water transmission/distribution pipelines, electric power plants, petroleum storage terminals and reinforced concrete structures, including bridges, parking garages and buildings.
Herb Cofer - Technician
Herb is certified by NACE International as a Cathodic Protection Tester.
He has been in the corrosion industry for 20 years.
Herb has significant experience in underground storage tanks, pipeline installation, and remote monitoring. His duties as a technician include conducting corrosion surveys of impressed current and sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems on underground storage tanks, water transmission/distribution pipelines, manufacturing plants, and petroleum storage terminals.
